lol, I felt kinda bad 'cause I was all like "Wha? Who is this person?" I had thought she might have been my neighbour because I'm suppose to house-sit on friday for her.
Arielle sounds like she's having fun, which is totally awesome! I miss her a lot but I'm actually fairing quite well this time around. A little bored, but doing good... unlike the first time where I just drove myself insane because I missed her.
You know what I should do? I should make a voodoo doll!
Voodoo solves ALL problems. Yup.
AND I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IANTO IS DEAD!

Random Rant: Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy
Oh nose! The road construction has finally trapped me in my house. So I've decided to have a marathon of Ed's to past the time!
I don't think Arielle cares for the show much, which is totally fine but I just think its adorable. I'm pretty sure its the oldest running show on Cartoon Network being that its 10 years old... and I know its made in lovely Canada land, where birds and beavers roam free with out a care in the world. 'Cause Canada's cool like that, yo.
Plus its the last major cartoon to ever be hand drawn. I'm pretty sure the cels are still done that way but since season 4 they no longer color them by hand.
There are 130 episodes, 4 specials, and 1 TV movie that has yet to air in the United States but has managed to air everywhere else. Its not hard to find, I watched it on youtube yesterday. The show has not officially been canceled but it is speculated that the movie will be the end of the series.
If it is over, it had a good run... so let's rant about it!
What I love most about this show besides the characters are the amazing sound effects! Every action is met with some sort of weird analogy produced by sound. Its hard to explain but it adds so much more personality to the event taking place or emotion a character is portraying.
I also enjoy the fact the characters are a set cast. Meaning no new introductions and no minor parts for obscure characters never to be seen again. Its kinda like Peanuts with Charlie Brown in a way, both shows take place with an all children cast and both seem to lack adults altogether.
(ARGH! S-so adorable... my heart has stopped.)
The 3 main characters of the show are, well, obviously Ed, Edd, and Eddy. They're all BFF's having met when they were infants when Edd first moved to the col-de-sac...

I would like to point out that I think "Col-de-sac" is an extremely cool word.
So yeah, the show is them basically running around trying to scam the other kids into giving them money for the candy store.
Ed is tall, dull, and loving. He loves chickens more then anything else in the world and often harbors some under his bed... Ed also has a little sister named Sarah whom he is afraid of.
Edd (Double D) is smart, kind, and wimpy. He's polite and courteous to a fault. He also has an enormous vocabulary that often confuses the other kids... :D he talks like he's trapped in the 50's. Edd is an only child and his parents solely communicate with him via sticky notes.
Eddy is tricky, stupid, and mean. He loves to scam people out of their money but his plans often fail. He has an older brother who moved out a long time ago but Eddy continues to tell the other children of his legacy... He has a bedroom that's trapped in the 80's... a "love shack" sorta room.
The other kids tolerate them for the most part, some more then others.
Most of the episodes center around scams but some are just...
(Eddy trying to prove that fairy tales... are real, dammit!)
(Edd... as a mermaid.)
Sometimes, Edd and Eddy... remind me of an old married couple.
(Geeze, I wonder why?)
( ... Really, I have no idea how the notion crossed my mind.)
Maybe it has something to do with their dialect.
"Um... our faces are touching, Double D..."
"That's my utter your touching..."
:) I LOVE that utter quote, btw.
"Should we tell him?"
"He's a big boy, Eddy..."
Naw, that can't be it...
Hm, guess I just won't dwell on it.
SO! Anyways, the movie was great. A perfect way to end the series... in more ways then one.

D: I've been really busy lately so I totally MISSED a call from Arielle yesterday! I was sad, so I ate like 2 lbs. of chocolate... my period must be coming.
In other news they're repaving hwy. 36 for the next few days. Its tough going out of my way to avoid it, but soon it'll be in front of my house and I won't even be able to leave...
:[ I'm sorta in a slump right now 'cause I read a god awful Transformer's fic that totally bummed me out last night. It was a good story, written well, had all my favorite characters in it but after the climax it got really sad and had a horrible ending! I'm in recovery mode right now.
I did get a laugh today though while trying to find some lighter fan fiction. It was one of those paid ads quiz things and it was hilarious!
